Fresh off the release of his Billboard charting album, Detroit 2, the three- time Platinum and RIAA Gold winning artist, gets personal about who his ultimate Gods of Hip Hop are. During a virtual press tour for the album, he spoke about his own personal struggles and journey that led him to the release of his fifth solo album. Sean has been inspired by a generous amount of artists along the way, even working under Kayne West’s label G.O.O.D Music for years.

In a recorded video call with Sean- posted to the Gram by Fat Joe on Wednesday, he responded to the question of who his top five artists of all time were, with names like The Notorious B.I.G, Eminem, Kayne, Lil-Wayne and Jay-z. Though this is a well-respected list of essential and influential artists in the hip hop industry, he continued to list off names like “I could go Rakim, I could go Nas, I could go Pac, I could go Snoop. I mean, so many bro.” Their conversation also included talk about Nipsey Hussle’s influence on the rapper and Fat Joe commented that they “Both have beautiful souls.”
